This book was put out by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. There's no exact publication date, but I'm certain it's from the 1920s.
( Another Washington Pie recipe (this one's named for Martha!), plain cake, spice cake, frostings, fillings, and breakfasty stuff like griddle cakes, corn cakes and waffles! )
