Diet chicken?

I suppose  210 calories for a half pound serving isn't too bad. I've never broiled chicken; it sems strange that 30 minutes total cooking time would be enough.

broil chicken that long = burned chicken in my experience.

bake it about an hour on 350, then test with a thermometer.

you can ALWAYS cook food further, but you cannot save food that's overcooked to the point of it being burnt to a crisp. undercook it, then test. if you don't have a thermometer, invest in one.

Yes! Especially with steak, prime rib, etc.

is it digital or analog? i noticed the same problem with my analog one...upgraded to a digital and it's leaps and bounds better than the old one.

i liked it so much i got a second one to use as a candy thermometer. i use this one - having the probe helps, i think.

yes, analog thermometers are to be left in the oven. the one i showed you can be used either way...the probe goes in the meat, the digital bits stay outside. OR you can use it as an instant read.
