Time for pie!

A few months ago, I bought a recipe box off of eBay. It's a tin box, filled with recipes for Royal Gelatin & Pudding. There are no dates, but I'm guessing it's pre-1970s.

For New Year's Day, I made the first recipe in the box, Nut Fudge Pie. The recipe didn't specify instant or cooked pudding, so I went with cooked. It was easy to make.

It looked gorgeous coming out of the oven, all high and puffy, but settled as it cooled. It also ran when I cut it, either because it was still warm or because I should have baked it five more minutes.

It tasted okay- nothing spectacular, and probably could have used more nuts. It is excellent over ice cream however!
